This was my first Wagamama's trip since turning coeliac and this is how it went!
When I arrived, I let the manager know that I had dietary requirements and he came over and gave me a separate menu. I had a choice of five things which personally I don't think is too bad as far as gluten-free menus go. I chose to have the Chicken Raisukaree which is a mild and creamy curry.
I really enjoyed my curry, the flavours were really nice. The coconut complemented the mangetout and peppers and it was finished off with a sprinkling of coriander, sesame seeds and lime. You had the choice to have it with prawn, chicken or tofu which I thought was really nice as you had the option to personalise it with whatever protein you prefer.
The chicken in my Raisukaree was cooked to perfection, it was really succulent and tender. The only thing I didn't like was that I found having fresh chillis in it made it a bit too spicy for my taste, however I appreciate that is personal preference. Overall, I would definitely have this dish again. I give it an 7/10.
