So to kick start our holiday to Tenerife we stayed at Premier Inn as we needed to be at the airport for 5am.

We chose to have our meal in Premier Inn as we only arrived at Gatwick around 6pm. I had heard good things about Premier Inns catering for coeliac disease so I was hopeful that it would be a good meal.

Upon arrival we informed the waiter of our dietary requirements and he gave us a separate gluten-free menu which had plenty of options some of which included steak, gammon steak, salad, piri piri chicken and curry. I opted for a rigatoni bolognese which was really tasty, the pasta tasted like “real” pasta and the bolognese sauce was rich and tomatoey. I would say that my only criticism is that there could have been more of it however having said this, I hadn’t eaten a lot that day so it might have just been that I was quite hungry.

There was also ample choice for dessert. I could choose between a fruit salad, Cadbury Caramel Nibbles ice cream sundae and scoops of ice cream. I went for the Cadbury Caramel Nibbles ice cream sundae and it didn’t disappoint, there was chocolate sauce, whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, Caramel Nibbles and a flake. It was stunning!

Overall I give Premier Inn a 10/10 as they were super accommodating, the staff were knowledgeable and the food was amazing!
