On Thursday, my friends and I went to Koi Koi in Guernsey for sushi. I was really impressed with the selection of sushi I could eat as well as the staff's knowledge. They knew about coeliac disease and informed me of everything I could eat. When booking, I added that I was coeliac in the 'any other notes' page on the booking form. In addition to whats marked on the menu, coeliac's can also eat the fries due to them being cooked in a seperate fryer however, due to a printing mistake, these aren't marked on the menu.

I opted for the avocado hosomaki and california rolls, both of which were really tasty. Coeliacs can enjoy any of the hosomaki as well as all of the uramaki and sashimi. While, I missed the bao buns which I would normally go for pre-coeliac there was still plenty of choice that I could eat.

Overall, Koi Koi felt a very safe environment that coeliacs in Guernsey can enjoy and I would recommend it to anyone. I give it a 10/10.
