B-Free bread! Where do I start? This has been my favourite bread more or less since becoming coeliac. It tastes like sourdough but has the texture of a farmhouse loaf.
It is a sourdough inspired white loaf and is very soft and bouncy in texture. It is basically as soft as regular non-gluten-free bread! It is also vegan friendly and dairy-free, so even if you are vegan and coeliac, you can still enjoy it too.
Another thing I love about B-Free bread is that it freezes really well. I keep mine in the freezer and use it for toast every morning. The fact that it comes pre-sliced is also a bonus, it means it is so easy for me to take it out the freezer and just shove it straight in the toaster without having to defrost it or cut it.
My only one problem with it is that I never find it anywhere. When I'm in Guernsey, I can get it in Alliance which is a small shop that has a good range of coeliac friendly-options. When I'm in Winchester, I can never find it anywhere however, I emailed B-Free to ask if it would be available anywhere soon and they responded with Ocado will be stocking it soon so keep your eyes peeled!
Overall, I give B-Free bread a 10/10.
